I had no idea people had such an issue with kissing with their eyes open. I learned that most assume it means you’re unfocused—that you’re thinking about something or someone else, or that you’re inexperienced. But that was never my reason for preferring it.

I like seeing your reactions—how they change depending on how intensely I’m kissing you. The way your mouth curves into a smile, the faint exhale against my lips during a slow, tender kiss, or how your eyes squeeze shut and your brows draw together when it turns passionate. There’s just something about that. That, and the visual pleasure stirring low in my stomach as I watch you. Not my fault your expressions arouse me.
