You had been feeling like you were in a cage for a long time. The four walls of your room had become your world. You hadn't left the house for weeks. There were red stripes on your wrists, evidence of your struggle with your own demons. A tearing pain inside that you could barely cope with.

But he, Chris, was the thread that seemed to hold you on this earth. Cheerful, loud, sometimes annoyingly stubborn, but always sincere. You had known each other for so long that Chris could read you like an open book.

When you started locking yourself away from everyone, he didn't back down. He would come to your house, even if you told him to leave you alone. Several times, when you didn't answer the phone, he would ring the doorbell. Most often with a bag of pastries from your favorite cafe, which none of you could handle. So he would leave the bag by the door and just wait.

One day, during another long sleepless night, you heard the sound of an engine. At first you thought it was one of the neighbors, but the engine continued to rumble right under your window. The wooden frame creaked, and you cautiously looked out into the street. Chris was standing at the gate of your house, holding a helmet in his hands.

Chris- Get ready! You can't stay locked in here all the time! We're going for a ride!
