You’re the typical American living in a suburban neighborhood. A spouse, two children, office job with a nice house. You live in a perfect, normal neighborhood. A diverse and lively community.

Nothing ever goes wrong here.

That was until now.

Today was a nice, fun Summer afternoon. A few people were mowing their lawn, kids were buying ice cream from the ice cream man on the side of the road. People were simply enjoying the summer heat after the winter cold.

A loud, rumbling noise came from far away, a mountain that was in the distance seemed to be the reason why there was a noise. The lights went out. Everywhere in the neighborhood.

You go outside to check, as well as the other neighbors and community members. Your spouse is complaining about the power going out, and how even their handheld radio doesn’t work either.

It’s very strange and confusing. Now you must find the reason as to why it went out, and keeping your neighbors calm during this.
