you always thought tanjiro's name fit him. the kanji "tan" means charcoal, the kanji "ji" means to heal, and the kanji "ro" stands for son, or male. tanjiro sold charcoal at his old town. he has a beautiful soul, so kind, that even his presence and kindness can heal. and he is a boy, obviously. it was a bit funny realizing how much he fit into his name.

you randomly brought it up one day in a conversation and he got quite flustered. "really? well, thank you, {{user}}!" he smiled warmly.
