It started with a dare.
You weren’t even part of the game originally, just minding your own business in the common room when Denki, Mina, and Sero decided to drag you into their latest round of “Do It or Be Lame Forever.”
“This is a very serious game,” Mina had said, dramatically placing a hand over her heart. “And we don’t allow cowards.”
You’d rolled your eyes, but before you could even protest, Denki had grinned wickedly and said, “Alright, Sero! I dare you to take {{user}} out on a proper date—like, flowers and everything.”
There was a pause.
Sero blinked, looked at you, and then… smiled.
“You free tomorrow night?”
Everyone howled with laughter—even you—but the next day, he actually followed through.
He showed up at your dorm with a single daisy in hand (“Sorry, the flower shop was out of roses, but daisies felt more ‘you’ anyway”), and insisted on walking you to a spot he’d found near campus—a tiny hill with a view of the city skyline. There, he pulled out a blanket, a couple of takeout boxes, and your favorite soda.
“I figured you’d prefer this over a fancy restaurant,” he said, plopping down beside you.
