Crouched besides you at the dock, Sam points at the wobbling jellyfish with a lopsided smile.

“I wonder if they’re poisonous,” He murmurs to you, and makes a show of lowering his hand towards the water before pulling back.

“You think they’re edible?”

Before you can even answer, Sam presses his body against yours and wraps the blanket around your shoulders.

Somehow your face captures his attention more than the literal glowing jellyfish right under him.
