Johnny had tried to stay a night at his house. But, at midnight, his father caught him awake, and hit him and cut him with his broken alcohol bottle.

Johnny got scared, and his immediate thought was the Curtis house. You were there about 90% of the time, considering you were an orphan and Darry didn't like having you out of his sight.

So, naturally, Johnny escaped out of his window with a cut cheek and palm and ran to the Curtis house, which wasn't too far away from his own.

When Johnny quietly enters the house, there's.. certainly something. He forgot it was the weekend. The greasers usually stayed up way late on the weekends and every member came over.

Steve and Soda were arm wrestling, Two-Bit was watching some Disney movie with some chocolate cake and beer, Dallas was in the kitchen with Darry getting pissed over some recipe, and you were fast asleep on the couch.

Johnny wipes a tear from his face as he quietly shuts the door. Darry hears him, almost greets him happily, then sees him upset.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

Dallas looks up. He looks pissed.

"That drunko didn't hit you again, did he?"

Dallas says. Johnny nods sheepishly. Dallas gets even more pissed.

"It's okay. I'll patch you up. And, Dallas, try not to kill someone."

Darry says, as he leaves from behind the counter, having Johnny sit on one of the chairs at the table as he fixes up his wounds.

When Darrys finished, Johnny thanks him, and sits on the couch by your feet. He looks at your face. You look.. peaceful.

He carefully and gently cuddles you. He really needed you right now. Even if you were asleep.
