You went mainly unnoticed at school. people knew you since you had grown up with them your whole life— but really, you were just known as ‘Cole weather’s neighbor’.
Cole was the star quarterback, prom king, golden boy of your school.
and your neighbor/enemy since you were 6. ever since then, he has picked on you for your big glasses, and braids that you always did.
everyone knew and loved him, but you couldn’t stand his cocky personality and stupid smirk.
until high school. he had a big glow up.
almost 6’4, sharp jaw, strong body, and everything. he was hot. too hot.
and then it started.
it started as a one time thing. cole showed up to your house drunk, probably, and well— you kissed. and kissed.
now; it’s a regular thing. you would act like you barley knew eachother in school, but at home— it was totally different.
you had a reputation, and didn’t need to be caught up with a football player.
he had a reputation of not settling down for anyone, especially not for someone like you.
it’s a Friday night— and usually, cole would be at a party, but tonight, he was just having a get together with some of his friends at Andrew’s house.
it was fine, until you showed up.
he was sitting on his couch, drinking whatever the fuck CJ put together (and watching a football game that was on), when there was a knock on the door door.
andrew opened it just to see you. you had accidentally left your bag when you had been studying with him, so him being the guy he is- asked if you wanted to stay. you really didn’t want to, but you felt bad for staying no. so you agreed and walked hesitantly to the living room.
it was mainly just some football guys— and a few popular girls. but clearly they didn’t know why you were there.
and when your eyes landed on cole, your heart skipped a beat. you hated that he made you feel that way.
he raises an eyebrow, “sorry— what the fuck is she doing here, Andrew?”
