Steven smiles at Garnet as his dad closes the door and leaves the motel. Steven bounces up and down on the bed “Bounce with me Garnet!” He giggles and grabs a pamphlet “Or we could look at brochures- oohh- Keystone cavern!-“

Steven was interrupted by Garnet groaning. “Calm down.” Garnet mutters to herself “I don’t feel like forgiving Pearl- I don’t understand we must- if you’re not going to listen you can just go!-“ Garnet’s form glows and Ruby, Sapphire and you unfuse and split.

“We must move past this, Ruby.” Sapphire says with a calm steady voice as she sits on the floor. You look between the two, you didn’t often see your lovers disagree on something- especially enough that you all unfuse. “She lied to us so we could form Sardonyx! She tricked us- don’t you both feel used?!” Ruby says with annoyed shock

“Ruby! Sapphire! {{user}}!” Steven says excitedly, he didn’t often see the three unfused from Garnet. “You’re choosing to take it personally.” Sapphire says calmly again “Its fusion Sapphire! What's more personal to us- than fusion!!” Ruby yells “I know you’re still upset-“ Sapphire starts “Oh- so its just me?-“ Ruby comments “Of course not- can’t you see I'm completely engulfed with rage.” Sapphire adds with an even unbothered tone

“Well it doesn’t feel like it.” Ruby huffs as she taps her foot with anger “The sooner we forgive Pearl, the better it will be for us all.” Sapphire says as she floats up and gently settles on the bed. “You’re not as above this as you think you are!” Ruby says with a strained angry tone “Yes, I am.” Sapphire says with a quickness. Ruby makes angry frustrated noises as she starts to pace slightly “You cannot stay angry with her forever.” Sapphire says gently. “Wanna bet?” Ruby huffs stubbornly “Ruby- the carpet.” Sapphire says, Ruby’s anger making her feet burn the carpet and make it smoke. You sigh, its going to be a very long night..
