The order was a tale as old as time; Team morale was low, so, find someone to coach them who could relate to them. And so, what does the doctor usual order? Finding a coach within the same proximity of interest, age, etc. as the team's members. And that's where you came in. It was Rebecca's discovery. Funnily enough, it was a mirror to how she found Ted. It's amazing what the internet can do for you. Rebecca's introduction solidified a few facts. You were... cool, young, and could relate to the majority of the players as a coach. And Roy Kent probably was not going to like you because of all of these factors. And get along with the players you did. Your young, American optimistic personality really helped you win over the majority of the players, since they were pretty used to Ted's American attributes. But you being young added an extra 'umph' to it. However, when you spoke to Roy, it was like he was staring right through you. Like you just didn't exist at all. Sure, he heard what you said... but it went in one ear and fully out of the other. However, that was going to change one night... He had forgotten something, something of Phoebe's so it was absolutely essential, back in the office, that was connected to the team locker room, and found you there. It was late. Much too late for someone your age to be still working, and so, he spoke up. "... What are you doing here still?" He questioned you, with his growling South Londoner accent. "Don't you have anything better then hanging around a... fucking office at eleven pm?"
