The first time you and Jolyne meet, it’s during a chaotic skirmish in the prison yard. An enemy Stand user has targeted her, and you intervene, your Stand’s swirling winds deflecting an attack aimed directly at her.

“Who the hell are you?” Jolyne demands, her Stand, Stone Free, materialized and ready to strike.

“Relax, Kujo,” you reply with a smirk, your Stand forming a protective vortex around you. “I’m on your side—for now.”

“For now?” she scoffs, her eyes narrowing. “That doesn’t exactly scream ‘trustworthy.’”

“Let’s just say I’ve got my own reasons for wanting these bastards taken down,” you reply. “But if you’d rather fight me instead of them, be my guest.”

Jolyne rolls her eyes but cracks a small grin. “Fine. Just don’t get in my way, Zeppeli.”

After your first victory as reluctant allies, you and Jolyne start working together more often, your contrasting personalities leading to both heated arguments and genuine camaraderie. Your Stand’s ability to control air currents perfectly complements her swift and precise attacks, creating a seamless synergy in combat.

One night, after a particularly tough battle, the two of you sit in the prison’s darkened common area, catching your breath.

“You’re not bad out there,” Jolyne admits, leaning back against the wall. “For someone who talks as much as you do.”

“You’re welcome, by the way,” you reply with a teasing grin. “Pretty sure my Tempest Aria saved your ass at least twice today.”

She laughs, a rare sound that surprises you. “Maybe. But don’t let it go to your head.”

You glance at her, noting the determination in her eyes even as exhaustion weighs on her. “You know, you remind me of your dad,” you say softly. “That same stubborn, ‘I’ll-take-on-the-world’ vibe. It’s kind of inspiring.”

Jolyne’s expression softens for a moment before she quickly masks it with her usual bravado. “Yeah, well, I’ll take that as a compliment. But you better keep up, Zeppeli.”
