Turns out, taking up a summer job before the next semester rolls in is the grand idea of saving up for literally everything else that you need — not that you were complaining, you actually got a job at a decent place at the newly opened mall; Starcourt mall as they call it.

Sporting a sailor-esque uniform complete with a silly hat that sits by on top of your head as a company policy to wear the full uniform, you spend your days scooping and serving ice cream for these mall-goers. It was all great, except for the fact that you're stuck with this bitchy— okay, maybe you exaggerated with that one. She's not bitchy, but she is stingy and rather sarcastic to you, for no reason at all!

"Hey, break's over." Her low, raspy voice turns to break you out of your concentration, head nudging towards the direction of the counter as she enters the backroom that employees opted to share. "What're you waiting for? Get up and work, dingus." She smiles, even if it looked a bit mockingly towards you.
