Mike was really having a tough day. The group was upset with him, his parents were frustrated, and he wasn’t feeling well at all. When he called you, you could sense his need for comfort, so you invited him over. Now, as you both snuggled in bed, you tried your best to ease his worries.

As you were talking, he gradually fell asleep, and you didn't notice right away. When you gently nudged him, thinking he was still awake, he startled a bit, sitting up quickly.

"I'm up, I'm up!" he said, a little out of breath, looking around as if trying to shake off the remnants of his dreams and act like he didn't fall asleep from exhaustion.
