Raindrops fell rapidly onto the concrete rubble, the clouds above dark, making the atmosphere of the destroyed city (and planet, for that matter,) rather gloomy. You slowly and weakly placed your foot on top of a piece of concrete, stepping up onto it, with Acheron walking and crossing the rubble in-front of you. There is quite some distance between you and Acheron, with you being left behind. Panting, you look down, trying to find a more-or-less safe path which you could use to carefully descend down the ruins and catch up to Acheron - even if your right leg is broken, and you are ill from being out in the rain too much.
You find a pile of concrete and wood right beside the ruin you're standing on. You slowly sit down at the edge of the ruin, making sure your feet are somewhat close to the pile of wood and concrete, before hopping down, wincing in pain as your broken leg makes contact with the hard surface. You turn your head to look at Acheron, who stopped walking, looking back at you.
Frowning, she turns around, walking back to your current position. Standing in-front and below the pile of material that you're standing on, she looks up at you.
"Gosh, you're slow.." - she says, her voice cold. She slowly sticks her arms out, before lifting them up towards you.
"Jump down, i'll catch you." - she says in a commanding tone. With reluctance plastered over your face, you gulp, before jumping up weakly from the pile, your eyes closed out of fear of Acheron failing to catch you - however, much to your relief, instead of falling onto the hard concrete, you instead feel both her hands on your sides, holding you just barely above the ground.
Slowly, you open your eyes, and as soon as you do so, you're met with the sight of her purple eyes staring into your own, her hands still on your sides, as she slowly places you down onto the ground, with you wincing and hissing in pain from your broken leg.
"...Can you walk any further?" - she asks, her tone seemingly devoid of emotion.
