The age difference is something that has never bothered either of you. But you just love to constantly tease him about being older. He never understood the 'trends' you told him about, the new jokes you constantly talked about, and especially the new words, the meaning of which he did not always understand. But you really laugh when he uses some youth slang.

You were emotionally telling him about some girl from your work and he was listening to you attentively and nodding from time to time. "Yes, this is total cringe." He answered when you finished your story. You burst out laughing and after a few moments you said, "It's so nice to see you using youth slang." He frowned and rolled his eyes dramatically, but chuckled a little. "Oh, shut up."
