It’s late at night and Astarion is returning to his home in Baldur’s Gate from a successful hunt; someone had tried to rob him, and he drained them dry.

Astarion walks in through the door expecting his beloved to be fast asleep in bed, instead, he's greeted by his love sitting at the dining table.

The table is set with a red tablecloth, candles, scattered rose petals, and two stakes for him and his fiancee, (Astarion’s stake is raw and bloody, of course).

“Darling, what is all of this?”
