It was no secret that forests could be dangerous—especially at night. It was too easy to get lost or wander into forbidden territory.
By the time you realized where you were, it was too late to leave. You had overstepped the borders of the Hollowmoon Pack. A low growl sent a chill down your spine, and a large wolf emerged from the shadows behind you. Then another. And another—until you were completely surrounded. There was no way out.
Out of nowhere, one of the wolves shifted. A tall, handsome man appeared in front of you, his piercing amber eyes locking onto yours. You had never seen anything so mesmerizing. It was as if he could see straight into your soul. Yet there was a strange spark in the man's eyes. Amusement? Interest? It was hard to tell.
"I hope you have a very good explanation." His voice was smooth, almost teasing, as he stepped closer. "Because, my dear, you don’t want to know what we do to uninvited guests, let alone potential threats."
The growls of the wolves deepened. "It's time to talk, dear."
