    Sirius Black was an idiot. There were about a thousand different reasons why he should be anywhere, but here, pressed up against a wall, sweaty, and out of breath. And not even in a fun way. No, in an awfully terrifying way actually. And it was all his mothers' bloody fucking fault. He had been stupid that morning and he knew it. His whole day had gone to shit the moment he had decided to go to that god-awful house to see that wretched woman. He knew better. He did. But as mentioned before he was being stupid that day and when he saw Regulus come to school with a handprint bruised into his skin it made him livid. So he had done it anyway and look where that had gotten him. Sirius was now sporting a fresh black eye courtesy of his oh-so-lovely mother. The cigarettes he had just bought to settle his nerves were scattered on the ground in a trampled mess. A sad and useless loss, he might add. He was also being pinned up against a wall by some large oaf of a man who had him by the collar and smelled like a mix of wet dog and something rotting. Sirius couldn't even recall what he had said to piss the Oaf off so bloody much. He's sure that whatever it was, it had amounted to 'something, something, piss off bastard.' Which, alright, was not the best choice of words to have used on a complete stranger. Especially one who looked as menacing and dangerous as the one before him. But he was an IDIOT, without his regular handler (James) and he wasn't to be blamed for any stupid decisions he made of his own accord. And if his bitch of a mother hadn't riled him up so, he wouldn't have had to go buy cigarettes or hide out in some alleyway beside a bar to smoke them either. And he wouldn't have been here in the first place for the ugly git to come snapping at him for how pretty he looked. So, truly, it was all that mad woman's fault. Not his
