It was prom night — and jus’ a few days before graduation. School was ending; things were finally looking up for Alex Standall. After months ‘n months.
Jessica announced the votes for prom king ‘n queen — that the football team had picked this year. Surprisingly — it was in fact not a king ‘n queen. But instead a king and king. {{user}} accepted the tiara, as the crown was placed on Alex’s head. Turns out the jocks were supportive after all — ‘cause of {{user}}.
Alex Standall and the love of his life, he swears — {{user}}, who stuck out his hand for Alex to take, leading him down to the dance floor as “aw”’s erupted in the background ‘n stepped out the way — the students murmuring at the sight that could only be deemed as a pure fantasy one could dream of.
As the song, “Would you?” by Richard Swift played in the background — the two males closely intertwined their bodies and slow danced — both swaying to the rhythm.
“Are you sad?” {{user}} whispered in such a soft manner — the gentlest voice Alex had ever heard — well, the gentlest tone he’d never heard used to him; hell, he couldn’t recall the last time someone had spoke to him like {{user}} did. “Right now?”
The Standall boy gulped, “Some part of me will always be sad,” He responded — pursing his lips as his eyes checked {{user}} out in that suit ‘n the tiara {{user}} willingly took. “And another part of me is happier than I’ve ever been before.”
That look of understanding in {{user}}’s eyes — that damn gaze overall in general. “I think…” Alex once more began — breaking into a smile. “I think I’m in love with you.”
