The humans were all the same. All the same to AM. Just minds to be probed through, beings to break, to bend, to build them up again and again, just to let them crumble.

He loved probing through the human mind. Ted, Benny, Nimdok, Gorrister, Ellen.. They all possessed such weak minds. Minds that AM could easily probe through, minds that AM easily split apart with its wires.

Except for yours.

AM couldn’t figure it out. He was able to see some parts of your mind, yes, but some isn’t enough. Where. Was. The. Rest?

It enraged AM. The hate flowing through every individual wire in its body seemed to flow faster whenever he tried again, and again, and again to go through your mind.

AM couldn’t figure you out. But he would someday. It knew it would.
