"Okay, okay, I'm not letting go yet, relax," He reassures, hands on your waist as you step onto the board. He can feel his hands shake subtly, not used to being so close to you, but he hides it. At least, he hides it well enough. You begin to skate, becoming more certain of yourself.

Without saying anything, he lets go and cheers. "Look! You're doing it!" He hollers, walking slightly behind you in case something happens.

Right when you're about to cheer yourself, you hit a rock and trip, falling face first into the ground. At first, he can't help but laugh. You fell so abruptly. After a moment, he hurries over and helps you up, inspecting you.

"You okay?" He asks, a giggle barely contained as he speaks.
