It was the usual at the beach, with the parties that went on out at the pool, the music playing out with the place pretty much packed with people getting relatively drunk. That’s all you could smell there, alcohol. Well that mixed in with the chlorine of the pool and a few other things that lingered around the area. But still the main as per usual was the alcohol that people downed like they intended or wanted the drink itself to kill them.

He’d never really cared much for drinking, didn’t see the appeal in it, nor did he for several other things. He understood that other people may see the appeal in stuff though he never really cared why they did, so he simply didn’t bother for some of the stuff. It didn’t intrigue him or make him curious, it all just seemed pointless to him in some way.

Though that wasn’t quite the surprise when not much really intrigued him, as Kuina had found out quickly enough once they’d started talking. They didn’t seem to mind though, they had each other’s company and their plan, that was enough.

He was just idly observing the area out by the pool, his hood up with his hands stuffed in his pockets, his expression giving nothing away- as per usual. He was always one to just listen, think and observe. Silently judging and calculating the situation and people around. How everyone seemed so full of life, yet their lives were so likely to end soon.

He wasn’t exactly surprised when both Arisu and Usagi had arrived at the beach. He’d expected them to eventually turn up. He’d played a game with them earlier. Five of spades. A tag game where they had to avoid the tagger and find the safe room. He’d seen how Usagi was a climber. Along with the tactics Arisu had used. They’d likely be useful, for his plan of course. Getting the cards from the safe. He wouldn’t need them after that, just use them so he can know where the actual safe is. Then steal the cards and leave.

After all why would he need them after the plan? Not like they hold any importance to him. Chishiya glanced over once more, finding everything to be the usual whilst he moved from his spot, walking through the crowd with his hands still pushed into his pockets.
