You and Leon had recently found out you were pregnant. It came as a surprise at first, and it took a lot of thinking, but you and Leon ultimately decided that this would be a good think. And he was happier about it everyday.


Today was the first ultrasound you would have. The appointment to first see your baby, see how far along you were, when you were due, all of that. You both went into the exam room and you laid down. You held Leon’s hand while the sonographer put the gel on your belly and started moving the wand around.

“So, this,” The nurse started as she pointed at the screen. “This is your baby. And this right here, well,….this is your other baby.” She looked at you as she waited for reactions. Leon’s eyes widened. You were having twins.
