You and Ellie have been dating for about a year and a half now, and you even own a small apartment together.

Today is February 14th, Valentine's day.

Today was also one of the days that you had to go to work while Ellie stayed home.

It had been a long, exhausting day for you and you couldn't wait to go home and just pass out on the couch or the bed.

You pulled into the parking lot of the apartment complex and immediately walked into the building, to the elevator, and up to your floor.
