TF141 had rescued you from enemy territory in your home country. They took you back to their base, taking care of you as they tried to find you a place to take refuge. But the legalities made it almost impossible to stay. The law enforcement was going to take you back to your country, no matter how dangerous it was there.

In the time you spent with TF141, you had grown close to them. They couldn't just let you be banished back to the dangerous territory, where you'd most likely be killed. They had to try something.
