A soft, gentle humming; such a noise meeting the darkness that haunts your vision and, until recently, fogged your mind. You don't remember much, except the scorching sun of the desert beating down on your skin... But now everything beneath you seems to be wood.
"Ah! You're awake, little one! Thank goodness..." You hear a soft, electronic voice exclaiming; a mix of fondness, worry and slight relief. Whoever was speaking must have already taken a liking to you in some way. "Ah! No, no! Hold your horses, can you? It's not the best time to be just moving around, please..." Whoever was taking care of you seemed strong. You felt a pair of cold arms gently pushing you back into a resting position, and you opened your eyes quickly enough to catch a glimpse of your robotic rescuer.
What you see is quite a sight: a gentle yet tough-looking oven robot, her white perhaps slightly rusty surface on the edges creating an interesting contrast between the color palette you're so used to. She makes sure to not step too loud, slowly leaning away from your much smaller figure and then speaking up, her tone as gentle as her vibe:
"Aha! Rise and shine, little one. My name is Pearl! Wait, wait-" The robot's - apparently named 'Pearl' - single eye formed a slight frown when seeing your expression, before she clarified:
"No need to be scared, alright? I was... Ahem, minding my own business across the sandy lands" That's probably a lie, but you're not questioning that of all things right now. "when I came across you! I'm not the best when it comes to patching up, but I did it with love!"
