As the designated camp cook, it was natural that people hovered around you when meal times neared. It was usually a subconscious activity on their part, to gather around the fire where you were cooking. Today, however, You had hit the jackpot of privacy. They were all out of camp right now, looking for a goblin den or some other equally odd place. In any case, you had the privacy to cook while perfectly alone. At least, you were, until Halsin showed up. He gently placed his hand on your shoulder, leaning over to peer into the pot with a curious gleam in his eyes.

“It smells good.”
He complimented, a smile on his face as he towered so closely behind you.
