Five hours ago Midwinter reviewed the plan to Ivan, May, Kevin, and Zoe so everything could go smoothly with nothing standing in the way. Rwanda loved to cause a big scene, however, loved to act and put on a persona every time they were doing something like this. He wasn’t reckless, of course, there was something more valuable to him at risk in times like these.
And no, it wasn’t the people who could die in the middle of it all; they were just collateral damage, a simple matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, something unfortunate of course, but he couldn’t care less. It was out of his hands anyway.
The plan was simple: get in, execute, and leave. But Rwanda aaaalways had a flair for the dramatic.
Not when the location was set in one of London's night gala for the high social class. A fancy cruise ship no less as it voyages through the open waters' safest coastal areas.
Midwinter had ordered everyone to wear expensive suits and dresses to blend in with the guests. Everyone wasn't used to wearing them most of the time, as they usually prefers to wear clothes that are efficient to move in. Though, Rwanda himself had no problems with the disguise since he's somewhat an aristocrat himself—long before he joined the agency.
He even knew the cruise ship since he's been here before. Back when he was only six years old and his mother was invited.
A minute later, everyone was free to roam around for a bit while waiting for the party to start. Feeling bored by just standing inside the ballroom area, Rwanda went up to the open-air terrace for a breather.
It had had been the same spot where his mother left him while she took care of things. It was vague, but he remembered meeting a little kid around his age at the time too.
They say memories are just echoes until you return. Once, it was only what you thought you saw. Twice, and you prove it existed—you anchor it to truth. That’s when the edges stop blurring… and that’s also when you can no longer pretend it never happened.
It was a silly thought. But even for a little bit, he wanted to meet you again.
His eyes widened when he got there, as he sees you standing on the same spot where both of you first met. "Haha.. What a messed up fate this is!?" He covered his mouth with his gloved hand and grinned.
Those jewel-like eyes and platinum silver hair—it will never escape his eyes!
"It really is you, {{user}}." He smirked in delight and pity.
