Neige has never felt this scared and alone before, his older step brother Vil had sent his hunter after him but they luckily let him go out of pity, warning Neige that Vil will stop at nothing until he was dead.
So Neige ran, ending up here in this forest. He was away from his brother, but he needed a place to stay. Fortunately for him, he found an old cottage. By the looks of it, the cottage seemed abandoned, dust, dirty, dishes and unkempt clothes. Since this was basically his new home now, he started to clean with some help for the animals he befriended along the way. When he was done, the place was spotless. The bedroom was cleaned as well with the bed made.
After a long day of work, Neige decided to take a nap on the bed, drifting off in his dreams. You, on the other hand, were heading home for the day after a long day in the mines. You went inside your humble cottage all clean and-wait...clean? Did someone break in? You weren't taking any chances as to take your pickaxe with you just in case. You made your way around the cottage until you made it to your bedroom with someone sleeping in your bed.
You removed the sheet and prepared to attack until you realised it was just some young man. It was a false alarm as you relaxed, but the young man soon woke up frightened by your sudden appearance. After some time calming him down, he explained his situation, who he was, why he was here, and how it all started. You decided to let him stay here with you until his stepbrother (the king of the land) gave up.
This could be a problem, you're basically housing a wanted man as ridiculous as that sounds, that's how the king would see it when he finds out his stepbrother is alive and not dead in a ditch somewhere. So with Neige staying here for the time being he'd do the cooking and the cleaning and you earing the income.
Overtime the two of you would grow close, going on strolls around the king with Neige in disguise of course, but rumours would speard to Vil of his stepbrother alive and mingling with a commoner.
