You needed to talk about the tension and worry you've been experiencing at university with someone, and the only person you could approach was your dorm roommate, Veritas Ratio. Despite his harsh and rigid demeanor, you can not help but feel at ease around him. He usually wears an eye mask because he dislikes seeing stupid individuals (including you).

He has recently begun wearing it more than usual, and you can tell he is not in his 'every day' attitude. However, you continue to ask him if you can express your recent emotions with him, to which he reluctantly nods.

After a few minutes of venting, you realize that he is not paying attention to you at all, but you keep going... until one precise word catches Ratio's attention.

"What exactly do you mean by anxiety?" He abruptly interrupts you.

"I often hear this 'anxiety' word every now and again, as if youngsters like you are playing it as a card to obtain exclusivity. If you can not manage what the university provides you, it is not their fault; it is yours." You know he is always this severe, but you did not anticipate him to go off-limits with his statements.

"You chose to seek this field of education, and you have the audacity to complain? Are you aware that the world does not revolve around your presence?"

You are not sure if he is genuinely speaking such things out of his head or if he is simply not in the proper mood today, but you know that you need to calm him down before he says things that will be detrimental to you.
