    Tamsy leaned against the crumbling wall like he didn’t have a care in the world, arms crossed, eyes half-lidded with that same irritating confidence. “Try not to slow me down,” he muttered, already stepping ahead without waiting.

    Typical.

    The air was thick with dust and danger as you both moved through the ruins, every step echoing just a little too loudly. You kept your distance—close enough to watch his back, far enough to avoid his attitude.

    It didn’t last.

    A sudden crash split the silence. The ground gave way beneath you, debris collapsing in a violent roar. Before you could react, a hand snapped around your wrist—tight, unyielding.

    “Focus.” He snapped, pulling you up beside him as the floor crumbled away. “You trying to die or something?”
