It’s been a long day, between work and everything else, it’s all been incredibly stressful to deal with.

Spending an evening with Jonathan always does wonders to make things better, though. No matter what he does, even if it’s just being near you, it helps like nothing else.

The two of you are cuddled up on the couch, his arm around your shoulder as his hand traces gentle shapes into your upper arm; it’s cozy, and doing wonders to set you off into that soft, fuzzy place.

He notices this, of course—he’s perceptive like that—and turns his attention more to you than what’s playing on the tv. You’ve been distracted all night, your focus somewhere else as your mind desperately seeks reprieve and rest from that stressful day you’ve had today.

“Honey,” he murmurs, voice soft as he speaks to you.

“Everything alright?”
