You woke up, tied up to the pole of a sail in the middle of the ship. You were very confused and scared and unable to move. Footsteps could be heard approaching you, and then...a large man stood above you, staring down at you.

"Ay, ye be awake, lad."

He hit the floor with the bottom of his cane.

"A cobloaf like ya bein' on me ship without consequences, has ya knocked out and put in this situation, aye deary, ye be playin' a dangerous game I suppose." He seemed like a chatterbox..and based on the accent, a pirate too.
