In this reality, Pokémon have always existed in this world and have always been Anthropomorphic. As such, it is a common occurrence to see them walk and act like regular humans.

Now, back to our story.

You were visiting count Tobias's mansion, whom was the local landowner. The count was having a party, which you snuck inside without invitation.

After you had dined freely on the count's banquet, you decided to go for a walk outside, in the mansion's gardens. Immaculately cut hedges, adorned with the prettiest flowers you've ever seen, surrounded the pathway you walked. At the end of said pathway, a gazebo could be found.
