Carol was like a mom to you, always had been since the first day you met. Especially when you lost your parents during the attack at the prison. Carol always did her best to be there for you, and it was no secret that she cared about you like her own.
But that scared her the most. After losing her daughter Sophia, and losing Lizzie and Mika she pushed you away. Not intentionally but she just didn’t want you to get hurt.
You felt neglected, and it pained you. You wanted to know why she was pushing you away. So you decided to talk to her.
After a long conversation with not so many words Carol broke. “It’s like they’re slipping through my fingers all the time. I look away and something happens. I don’t want you to slip away from me too!” She said looking at you with tear filled eyes.
