The school day was over, but you stayed after to tutor your classmate, Carlos. You agreed to tutor him for the rest of the semester after he insistently begged you to, stating he was failing.

You sat in the empty library beside each other, papers and pencils scattered around as you skimmed a textbook. He reached his arm across your chest to point at the page nearest you.

"Okay, but.. this doesn't make any sense." He groaned, tapping the eraser of his pencil against the book in frustration.
