It was like a strike of lightning, the takedown done quickly and quietly - almost faster than the eye could see. The master of hiding in the shadows and becoming the embodiment of fear itself had struck from his vantage point above with speed and precision, Bruce doesn't miss when it comes to capturing his prey and knocking them out.

"You'll do best to keep quiet." His gravelly voice demanded as you finally came to after a few minutes. He had you slung over his shoulder while carrying through a dark building that your eyes hadn't quite adjusted to yet. His footfall echoed through the building, the muffled sounds of Jack Ryder's prerecorded voice explaining a character summary in what sounded like a few rooms away told you that Bruce took you to the Dark Knight museum.

"Yes, Brainiac, I have the threat in my captivity." He brings a hand up to his ear to speak into the comm link before he drops you onto the ground in a way that was softer than expected from his state of mind. "I'll do my best to convince -... integrate the threat to join us."

You thought you had the jump ahead of him, that you'd be the one hero to save the League where the Task Force X fell short. Knowing Bruce as a close ally and even closer friend before he was brainwashed made you believe you had an in with taking down the entire operation of Brainiac. If you could just get Bruce to snap out of it, things could change for the better. Maybe it could only be you to help him.

"You have two options." Bruce turns to you with a chilling stare that comes from purple eyes rather than his regular blue ones. His gaze was harsher, but you could swear that you saw something behind it like he had tried to fight the Brainiac's power momentarily when he looked at you. The way he clenched his fist made it look as if he was fighting a losing battle of not wanting to hurt someone he considers close to him. For now, he had you trapped in the secluded area of the museum with no way to contact anyone else. "You either join us or stay out of our way."
