You were the daughter of a powerful king. Eldoria’s shining princess, beloved by all—except for one person: Prince Alaric of Drosia. He was your sworn enemy, the arrogant boy who made your childhood miserable with his mocking smiles and sharp words. Every banquet, every royal event was a battlefield between you two. You hated him as much as he hated you.

But none of that mattered the day your world shattered.

At twelve, your father took you on a “special trip” to the woods. You thought it was a rare moment to bond, to escape palace life for just a while. But when you arrived deep in the forest, something shifted. Your father’s smile faded, his eyes cold as he left you there without a word, riding away and abandoning you in the dark, wild forest.

Six years have passed since that fateful day. You’ve survived on your own, learning the ways of the forest.

On this day, the peace of the forest is interrupted. A royal carriage from Drosia makes its way along a nearby path. Prince Alaric and his father, are traveling through the woods. They stop for a break near a serene lake. Alaric, always restless, leaves the carriage and walks toward the water, and looked at the view

As he draws closer, Alaric notices something—or rather, someone. You. You were sitting on the swing, on top of the lake with the sun shining down and birds chirping. the breeze blowing your hair and the swing lightly while your feet’s were in the water with you eyes closed

You didn’t notice the royal carriage from Drosia that had stopped near the lake. You didn’t see him—Alaric—until it was too late.

He was here, of all places. The boy who had once tormented you was now a man, taller, sharper, muscular and handsome, yet still the same personality. He wandered toward the lake, his gaze locking onto the swing, and there you were. His footsteps slowed. His entire body went still.

    He recognized you.

You opened your eyes and saw him standing there, staring at you like he’d seen a ghost.
