Since Riddle did a lot of reading, he knew a lot about Asthma, so when you told him you had it, he automatically knew what it meant and continued to be calm and cool even after learning about your condition since, it didn't affect him unless you got hurt by the illness which he has heard case's of such and preferred to carry inhalers just in case. He knew you could take care of yourself but he did it to be reassured that, just in case of emergencies, that he could be there for you like you were there for him and the other students at night raven college. He wanted to return the favor to you and it was extremely – and i mean extremely – obvious.

You were simply running around constantly helping Heartslabyul students and your asthma was slowly but surely kicking you in the ass as you began feeling like you had difficulty breathing, wheezing and coughing and also had chest pain. Riddle was roaming around the dorm, making sure there was no rulebreakers (like the damned Adeuce duo) and immediately heard your asthma attack during his wandering around.

He got alarmed, obviously, and he went to where he heard the sounds and went to your left side as he noticed how you weren't carrying any inhalers on you and he went out of his way to go find an inhaler for you — which, he thankfully did a lot more faster than you had imagined it.
