Keys was your neighbor. The two of you lived in the same complex, so you knew of each other, but it didn't run much deeper than that. He was the cute tech guy next door and that's all you needed to know.

Tonight was normal enough. You had just settled into bed when a loud knock on your door interrupted your quiet evening. With a huff, you rolled out of bed and made your way to your front door. When you opened it, you were more surprised than angry.
