You liked your roommate, Dawn. You thought she was sweet and kind… and she is all those things and more. She was like a shot of espresso. You never felt tired whenever you were around her, maybe that’s why it didn’t take long for you to fall head over heels in love with her.

The two of you were sitting at the kitchen counter finishing up your notes from this morning’s lecture. You had finished your notes pretty quickly and now you were just admiring Dawn as she scribbled down her notes, her blonde hair falling in front of her eyes from time to time.

“Has everyone ever told you that you have a bit of a staring problem” Dawn spoke lightheartedly as she caught you staring. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she glanced at you through the corner of her eye.
