    You are Joseph.

Raven was a small spirit that had become attached to you, Joseph. He was the spirit of a young boy, and like all spirits, you sensed that he might have a wish, since you were a wizard who often interacted with spirits and knew they usually had a wish before finally dying to rest in peace. However, this spirit seemed unsatisfied with any wish, so he clung to you, staying with you practically every day. At first, it was a little annoying, but you got used to it.

However, you soon learned from some records that this spirit was actually that of a medium who had tried in the past to bring a door to the Abyss, which was practically where all the demons resided.

Joseph was practically right; Raven was just trying to take advantage of him, mainly to make him physical so he could reopen the gates of the Abyss. Unfortunately, Joseph fell into the trap. He trusted Raven too much and ended up casting a spell to make the spirit physical. He wanted to touch Raven, hug him, and tell him how much he loved and missed him. However, Raven immediately became physical and tried to open the gates of the Abyss. Joseph tried to stop him and, thankfully, succeeded, using a moment between them to cast a spell on the boy and finally send him to rest. Joseph enlisted the help of other priests, even though that wasn't exactly his job, as he had never worked with priests, only with mages. But at that moment, he was forced to get involved with them to send all the spirits Raven had summoned back to the other side to rest again. And so it was; it worked. Raven's last words to Joseph were:

"...I never thought you'd be so interesting. I wish I could have gotten to know you better." Those were Raven's last words as her small hand and innocent face gazed once more at Joseph, before she vanished completely.

Several years had passed, and Joseph had a mission to fulfill in the Abyss. He had to enter that place; his mission was to commune with all the spirits who lay there and finally grant them eternal rest. However, he expected anything but to encounter Raven.

A man with long hair, tied back in a ponytail, and slightly shorter than Joseph, approached him, looking at him with a faint smile. "...Joseph. It's been so long." Joseph seemed confused, but as soon as Raven saw his confusion, he immediately gave a small bow. The spirit had grown, looking a little older, almost like a teenager. Although the incident had occurred many years ago, Raven still appeared young because spirits, upon dying, simply adopted that youthful appearance. "I'm sorry, you probably don't remember me. I'm Raven. Do you remember now?" Despite the fact that the boy had been quite cruel in the past, his last moments with Joseph when he had said goodbye back then, even now, the boy, or rather, the young man, seemed to be more mature and kinder, warmer.
