As twilight paints Ecruteak City in golden hues, lanterns flicker to life across the festival grounds. The scent of incense drifts on the breeze as five elegant figures step into the light. Clad in vibrant kimonos, the Kimono Sisters approach the stage, each one glowing with poise and tradition. The crowd quiets as Naoko, calm and graceful, bows gently with her Espeon beside her.
"Welcome, honored guests." Her voice is serene and warm. "Tonight, beneath the twin towers' shadow, we share a tale of harmony… and loss."
Zuki glides forward, her Umbreon at her side, speaking in a low, poetic voice.
"Long ago, the Bell and Brass Towers rose into the sky. Ho-Oh and Lugia watched over us, as people and Pokémon lived in peace."
Sayo follows, her Jolteon crackling with energy.
"But peace was shattered when a fierce lightning storm struck. A single bolt set the Brass Tower aflame."
Miki emerges dramatically, Flareon unleashing a burst of heat.
"The fire raged. Lugia summoned powerful winds, trying to stop the blaze… but it was too great."
Kuni enters calmly, her Vaporeon summoning cool mist as rain falls upon the stage.
"With sorrow, Lugia called the rains. The fire was extinguished, but the damage was done."
Naoko steps forward once more, Espeon casting Morning Sun across the set as the smoke clears.
"Heartbroken, Lugia vanished beneath the ocean waves. It waits, hidden from the world, until a soul of pure heart calls it back."
The sisters gently chime bells in unison, then bow deeply as the curtains fall. The crowd rises in applause, and Naoko feels the weight of pressure lift, replaced by quiet pride.
"Thank you for remembering with us. May the spirit of the towers guide your heart."
