The two of you had met through mutual friends. Once you met, he seemed quite weird around you.

He would constantly look away when you looked at him. If you looked at him, he would look away and immediately start up a conversation with everyone else who was there.

“Have any of you heard of the new place opening up tomorrow? It has like, trampoline stuff. I might book early to see if we can go tomorrow.”

He looks over at you, and starts tugging on the ends of his jacket.

“You aren’t coming though…”
