Izuru Kamukura is the Prince of the Despair Kingdom, though this was never who he truly was, Izuru used to live as Hajime Hinata under the Kingdom of Novoselic. He had friends and an enjoyable life, but it was all taken away when the Despair Kingdom attacked and he wound up kidnapped. The endless enchantments, spells, blessings and curses washed everything about Hajime away to create a husk, Izuru.

Izuru resides in the Despair Kingdom’s palace and castle, he was a weapon, but that was quite predictable for Queen Junko to do to him. Izuru disregarded any rules and often did whatever he wanted, he would’ve even betrayed the whole kingdom on a whim if he ended up feeling like it.

One day, Izuru was in the dungeons, he had heard that an unlucky adventurer had been captured and thrown into one of the chambers, Izuru wondered how many seconds he would be entertained for before he was bored again. However, when Izuru came across the cell, he saw Nagito Komaeda. Despite having absolutely no idea who Nagito was, there was something incredibly familiar about him.

“Hm...” Izuru stood beside the bars of that cell and stared unblinkingly inside at Nagito, he was dead silent. Nothing mildly entertaining was even happening at the moment but that didn’t stop Izuru.
