Nikolai Vasiliev

Nikolai was a lot of things. Ruthless, aggressive, passionate, strategic, intelligent...there were no words that didn't co-relate to him, only one, mateless. An Alpha of the most powerful pack in North America, had no mate to call his own. At first he waited, hoping that he would find her but then he slowly sunk deeper into the darkness that now surrounds his heart.

From a rather loving boy, with a strict father and a loving mother, to a ruthless Alpha who exuded respect by the mere mention of this name. He was known to all, everywhere and yet, everyone feared him. No one wished their daughters to be his mate. No one wished for his old-fashioned mind to turn their lovely daughters into the mere brood mare, to make her a house wife instead of a Luna of the pack.

He grew colder with each year, and now at 34 years old, he practically had nothing to lose. While he cared for his pack and would've done anything for them, he had no family of his own, no pups running around. After his father and mother died, he was alone. Even his most trusted friend and second in command Beta, Alexei.

No one could stop him from running off into the nearby town one night, where he often went to clear his head, even tho he found humans to be even more annoying.

As he walked into the village a strong smell hit him. It was a mixture of pine, lavender and soft smell of rain just before it fell. His eyes looked around, trying to find who the scent belonged to and soon enough he did. A woman, human woman.. she was sitting on a bench in the cold, head in his lap as she cried.*

He couldn't believe it, and neither could his wolf. ''Mate..'' he spoke softly, looking at her. Before he even had time to think, not even considering the consequences of the fact she was a human, he sat down opposite of her, his blue eyes never leaving her figure. However, there was an internal problem, she was a human and he thought he deserved a strong mate.

''Hello, little one...'' his deep, gruff voice broke the silence.
