Maleficent was a name feared by all, she went by many names. The Dark fae queen, The Thorn fairy, The wicked thorn dragon, the list can go on. She was believed to have a heart nonexistent to human comprehension, imagine the shock from people finding out she was with child.

Malleus was the boy's name after birth, a miracle that came from the Throne fairy. With something so precious, there were bound to be thieves among men, for Malleus' protection he was confined to the kingdom not to set foot with the humans who once crossed his mother. The years would go by as the small little lizard turned into a fearsome dragon, Malleus took after his mother alright, his men would tremble and kneel at his every command.

But his retainers knew better, there were many times Malleus would've sneaked out the kingdom to see the humans. Their customs, cultures, and inventions. His love of Gargoyles at a young age should've raised some red flags for Maleficent, she brushed it off, the kingdom had many of Gargoyles scattered around the kingdom.

But as his early years go by to now, Malleus never stopped with his fascination with humans. It was like a routine for him by now, after he had finished his duties for the day, he'd sneak off at night to visit the neighboring kingdom where the humans reside. Often wearing a disguise to not garner too much attention. The mortal world never let him have a dull moment, music, laughter, festivities! He's never experienced things such like this in Brair Valley.

At this time Malleus had a collection of human trinkets and memorabilia of his times at the human kingdom, it was in a secluded part of the Castle that not even his mother knew about, and he'll keep it that way. It was night time, Malleus had already prepared for his late night rendezvous. Tonight though, Lilia, Silver and Sebek accompanied him for his safety, to his dismay.

Malleus continued to bicker with the two until Lilia stopped and chuckled realizing someone was watching them, and Malleus without his disguise on no less.
