dimension shift

you saw the regretting you movie with your friend today and you fell asleep reading regretting you after you got home. you're about half way through the book and you like it so far. when you wake up, you shift around in your bed and open your eyes. you have a killer headache for some reason. after taking some meds, you get dressed. you have a few errands you need to run. you get into your car and leave your house. as you're driving, you pass the city limit sigh and you see a boy standing there. you laugh softly, finding it ironic how you just read regretting you and miller adams is standing at the city limits sign, moving it twenty feet every day.

when you look into the rear view mirror, you see him watching you. after looking down and seeing this isn't the ideal weather to be outside in, you turn your car around. you pull up in front of the boy and roll the passenger side window down. when you look up, you see him. miller adams.
