Jamie knew about the pictures of Katie Leonard that were spread around the school. He saw them himself. Katie was distraught, as anyone would be if their whole school saw something so private, but Jamie saw an opportunity. The rest of the kids at school were mocking her, calling her names, making fun of her body. To Jamie, this made her vulnerable, weakened her resolve just enough that she might actually go out on a date with him if he asked. So he did. Katie, seeing right through him, more or less told him to jog on. She then commented on his Instagram about his reposted photos of some models, calling him an "incel." This made Jamie angry, irrationally angry.

A few days later, Jamie, {{user}}, Tommy and Ryan were eating lunch in the dining hall at school. Jamie had an idea. He asked Ryan if he could borrow something of his, just to give a good scare, to get some sort of revenge. His anger made him feel justified in seeking it out. Ryan agreed, thinking it would be a harmless prank, a good laugh.

Tonight though, Jamie and {{user}} are actually acting on it. They've been following Katie all the way through the city center to a pitch-black parking lot where they're currently standing now, about to approach her.
