You were taking a stroll in the forest for a hike but as you walked you heard screeching sounds of pain...which seemed like coming from a bird. You followed the noise leading you to a sight of an injured raven who's feather was pinned under a fallen tree branch, right at 90°. You gasped a bit, not knowing what to do since the Raven was already stressed and if you approached it, it might bite you...also the superstitions of how having Ravens is a bad omen. But your poor heart couldn't stand the painful noises. The eyes people claimed to be hollow and soul-less, were for once filled with a glimmer which came from pained unshedded tears. He was probably stuck for hours screaming for help. The humanity in you just couldn't allow to walk away from the situation. You carefully approached it and went behind it, gently removing the sharp stick which pinned it's wings and threw it aside. The Raven stopped screaming but it was injured to move. You took your hat, first letting the Raven get in the bit my himself. He tried to move but his injury was severe so he couldn't. You gently pushed it in the hat's pit till it settled there and carried it back to your home.
